She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and leverages over 15 years of client-relations experience to ensure TerraServ delivers precision-driven results with a personal touch.

Ryan Abernathy
Co-Founder and Client Relations

Ryan is a licensed real estate agent with the Texas Real Estate Commission, bringing over a decade of experience leading land acquisition and right-of-way services for complex infrastructure projects across Texas. He began his career with the Texas Department of Transportation and has since supported a range of public and private initiatives.

Ryan specializes in managing the full lifecycle of right-of-way projects, from early-stage planning and stakeholder coordination through acquisition and final agreement execution. He has a proven track record of successfully negotiating easements, rights of entries, along with other land agreements that enable the timely development and expansion of critical infrastructure. His experience spans utility sectors including water, wastewater, natural gas, and telecommunications, as well as work with municipalities, and developers.

With a strong focus on project delivery, Ryan is skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning project objectives with landowner interests, and navigating complex negotiations to achieve efficient, mutually beneficial outcomes. He has led acquisition efforts for projects involving new facility development, infrastructure relocation, and system upgrades, consistently delivering results that keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Ryan is known for his ability to build trust with stakeholders, anticipate challenges, and drive negotiations forward with professionalism and integrity. David L. Johnson

David is a licensed Real estate professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He brings a unique blend of technical precision and strategic negotiation to the real estate and land rights industry.

With over a decade of experience in high-level IT and management, David spent seven years leading teams in tech product support, where he mastered the art of complex problem-solving and client relations.

Transitioning his expertise to the land sector, David has spent the last two years specializing in real estate and right-of-way negotiations.

A licensed Texas Real Estate Sales Agent and commissioned Notary, he combines a deep understanding of property law with a steadfast commitment to his clients' interests.

Now a partner at Terra Serv, David leverages his background in operational management and data-driven strategy to navigate the intricacies of land rights, ensuring seamless transactions and professional excellence in every project.

Bryan is a licensed Texas real estate professional with over a decade of experience in real estate and infrastructure acquisition. He has supported water, sewer, roadway, and natural gas projects for municipalities, utility providers, and developers across Texas, working to secure the land rights necessary to move projects forward.

Bryan is known for his straightforward communication and steady, practical approach to negotiation. He focuses on keeping projects on track while ensuring property owners are treated fairly throughout the process by balancing the needs of the project with the realities landowners face.
